Joint Meeting KSCLS – Wheatland CLMA April 16 – 17, 2019 – Wichita, KS As is the custom, Kansas laboratory organizations will join together in 2019 to celebrate our profession and commitment to quality patient care by sponsoring a Joint Meeting of the Kansas Society for Clinical Laboratory Science and the Wheatland CLMA. This year’s meeting will be held Tuesday - Wednesday, April 16-17, 2019. GENERAL INFORMATION: The meeting will be held at the Wichita Marriott Hotel, 9100 Corporate Hills Drive, Wichita, KS. - A block of rooms has been reserved at the hotel, with room rates of $119.00 for single or double occupancy. - Registration fees include admission: general sessions, exhibits, breaks, Tuesday and Wednesday lunches, and the Tuesday evening Vendor reception.

- Institutional Registration includes two 2-day badges for admission to general sessions, exhibits and breaks. Institutional pass discount: Note: lunches are not included in the Institutional Registration. Lunches may be purchased separately.
- Member rates are available to individuals who are current members of the Kansas Society for Clinical Laboratory Science and the Wheatland Chapter, CLMA.
- Non-members may join as a part of registration, and participate at the KSCLS / CLMA member rate.
- Complimentary registration will be available for individuals wishing to visit the exhibits only. Badges may be obtained at the registration desk.

- P.A.C.E.® Credit
- The ASCLS P.A.C.E.® Program approves KSCLS as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences.
- All sessions are pending approval for P.A.C.E.® credit. The P.A.C.E.® credits awarded for each session will be published in the final program.
- CE Organizer will be used for P.A.C.E.® documentation.
- For those individuals participating in the ASCP Certification Maintenance Program (CMP), the program committee has attempted to offer continuing education sessions which meet the CMP for generalists (MLS and MLT). A minimum of 36 points over a period of three years is required and must include the following: 1 point in safety, 2 points each in blood bank, chemistry, hematology, and microbiology. Other areas that may be counted toward CMP are immunology, molecular diagnostics, management, education, and/or other related laboratory area(s) of interest.
